How much time is involved with a clinical trial is a common question. However, there is no one set answer. Each clinical trial is different and handled individually. Some clinical trials will last weeks, others may last months or years. Most clinical trials and research studies do involve an initial exam and follow-up office visits. In most studies you are compensated for your time and travel expenses.
