Long Island Clinical Research Associates is run by highly qualified, board certified physicians who are experts in their respective fields. They have extensive clinical study and research experience. Seymour Katz, MD, FACP, MACG

Curriculum Vitae

Seymour Katz, the senior member of the medical group, has been in practice since 1971 and is a world-renowned expert in the management of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He has participated in numerous clinical trials, lectured nationally and internationally and published scientific articles and textbook chapters in this field.

Dr. Katz is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine and is a past President of the American College of Gastroenterology, an international organization representing more than 6,000 physician gastroenterologists.


Robert Tepper, MD, FACP, FACG

Curriculum Vitae

Robert Tepper joined the medical group in 1993 after completing a fellowship in gastroenterology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. He has published articles on various gastroenterology topics and written textbooks chapters on the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders of the elderly. Dr. Tepper is co-chair of the Medical Advisory Committee of the Long Island Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.



Blanche Fung Liu, M.D.

Blanche Fung Liu joined the medical staff in August, 2005. She is a gradute of Harvard University and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.
She completed her internal medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and her gastroenterology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.
Her academic interests include women's gastrointestinal issues and hepatology.

All physicians are board certified in
internal medicine and gastroenterology.
