Who We Are

Long Island Clinical Research Associates, LLP (LICRA) is an affiliate organization of Nassau Gastroenterology Associates, P.C. We are a privately owned clinical research center in Great Neck, New York. Conveniently located to New York City and its suburbs, LICRA services a multi-racial and multi-ethnic population of more than 12 million, allowing recruitment from a diverse group of clinical study participants. Our site has completed over 200 clinical trials since its inception in 1982. Our clinical research experience includes Phase II, Phase III, and Phase IV studies as well as consultative work with major pharmaceutical companies. Our site is highly regarded by the pharmaceutical industry for our high quality and consistently high patient enrollment.

We have an ongoing mission to conduct multi-specialty clinical trials in a high-quality, confidential, expeditious fashion consistent with "Good Clinical Practice" guidelines and with meticulous attention to FDA regulations.

Our on site clinical study facilities consist of a CLIA approved laboratory for phlebotomy, urinalysis, electrocardiography, and endoscopy suite with capabilities including: sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and Acid (pH)monitoring. We offer intravenous infusion capabilities, a board certified anesthesiologist for intravenous sedation and a nutritionist. We utilize off site ultrasonography, computerized tomography, magnetic resonance, nuclear imaging and pulmonary function testing facilities.

Long Island Clinical Research Associates (LICRA) is a multi-specialty clinical research company. In July 1998, LICRA expanded into a newly constructed 3,500 square foot facility. Our clinical research staff includes physicians, nurses, certified research coordinators, research assistants and support staff. Our patient database is extensive and is stored on a state of the art confidential computer platform. We remain committed to our mission at LICRA of preserving our reputation for the highest quality of clinical research.
